One of our companies is currently looking for a QA Automation Engineer in the United States.

We’re seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to take ownership of testing data pipelines, data warehouses, and APIs with a focus on delivering high-quality, reliable data infrastructure. In this hands-on role, you’ll work closely with data engineers and manual testers to build scalable test automation frameworks, implement effective test cases, and maintain data integrity across systems. Strong Python and SQL skills are essential, as you’ll be responsible for creating automation tools, debugging issues, and improving QA processes that support the company’s strategic data goals.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks for data pipelines and warehouses.
  • Collaborate with manual testers and engineering teams to define automated test cases.
  • Write and execute advanced Python scripts and SQL queries to ensure data accuracy and quality.
  • Generate data quality reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Test and validate APIs, JSON, XML, and database transactions.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to user story creation and test planning.
  • Analyze test results and work with engineers to identify and resolve root causes.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Python development experience with testing libraries and frameworks.
  • 10+ years of SQL experience across various database platforms, including MySQL and Snowflake.
  • Strong knowledge of testing APIs and analyzing JSON and XML data formats.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel and data manipulation techniques.
  • Experience with data quality assurance in data warehouse environments.
  • Ability to work across time zones and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile workflows and tools (e.g., Scrum, Epics, Stories).
  • Bonus: Experience with Vitess, Big Data tools, and infrastructure automation.
