Junior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Junior Accountant (m/f/d).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage outgoing invoices and ensure accuracy and timeliness in collaboration with Sales and Revenue Operations
• Own the Dunning Process to track and resolve outstanding payments efficiently
• Support and optimize financial ledgers while assisting with month-end and year-end closes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role, preferably in a start-up or fast-paced environment
• Completed an accounting apprenticeship, ideally with a German qualification as Finanzbuchhalter or equivalent
• Fluency in English and proficiency in German (C2 level), with French being a plus
• Comfortable with German tax and accounting standards and an understanding of business accounting procedures
• Adept at learning and using new tools, with a focus on process improvement and efficiency
