Job Summary

A company is looking for a Junior Cloud Engineer to design and implement secure cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) by securing environments for research
• Design and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure in AWS for compliant data exchange
• Collaborate with teams to integrate new systems and build automation tools for monitoring and deployment

Required Qualifications

• Foundational experience in cloud computing, networking, and DevOps practices
• Proficiency with AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, and S3
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like CloudFormation or Terraform
• Experience scripting in Python, Bash, or similar languages
• Understanding of secure networking principles in multi-agency or federal environments
