Junior NOC/SOC Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Junior NOC/SOC Analyst to join their operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network, server, and system health using monitoring tools
• Identify and escalate performance issues, outages, or service interruptions
• Monitor SIEM dashboards and security alerts, conducting initial analysis of suspicious activity

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or coursework in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addresses, firewalls, VPNs, DNS)
• Familiarity with common cybersecurity threats (phishing, malware, brute force attacks)
• Knowledge of or exposure to monitoring tools or SIEM platforms a plus
• Strong communication and documentation skills
