Job Summary
A company is looking for a Junior Security Controls Assessor to support federal cybersecurity and privacy programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting security and privacy control assessments for various systems in accordance with federal standards
- Implementing continuous monitoring strategies to provide real-time awareness of cybersecurity risks
- Advising system owners on risk remediation efforts and validating the closure of identified risks
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or higher in a cyber-related field
- 1 or more years of experience in security and privacy control assessments for federal information systems
- Deep understanding of NIST RMF processes and frameworks
- Experience with risk scoring methodologies and assessing residual risks
- Hands-on experience with continuous monitoring programs and tools
