Junior Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Junior Security Engineer with a strong interest in application security and penetration testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and document penetration tests against applications and APIs
• Simulate real-world attacks to identify vulnerabilities and provide remediation guidance
• Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate security throughout the SDLC

Required Qualifications

• Practical experience in application security, such as penetration testing or secure code review
• BS degree or above in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent practical experience
• Good knowledge of Java and Java Enterprise technology applications
• Familiarity with Spring MVC/Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and data access technologies
• Knowledge of Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, and Docker
