Junior SOC Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Junior L1 SOC Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow standard operating procedures for real-time security event intake
• Monitor infrastructure with SIEM to identify security incidents
• Respond to security events and incidents, and automate routine processes

Required Qualifications

• Understanding of network and systems security and software security
• Experience with Windows and Nix platforms
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and common malware threats
• Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency in English
