Kafka Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Kafka (Subject Matter Expert) to support their customer in the architecture and strategy group.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and integrate new Kafka cluster and event stream requirements into existing enterprise architectures
• Conduct design assessments and provide recommendations for Kafka event streams integration
• Troubleshoot production Kafka event streams and software integration issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 20+ years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with Kafka event streaming capabilities in hybrid multi-cloud environments
• In-depth knowledge of Kafka implementations and migration strategies
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka, Confluent Platform, and related technologies
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL database management
