Lead Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Data Engineer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of data engineering solutions, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
• Oversee engineering data initiatives and create frameworks for data extraction and transformation
• Develop and maintain infrastructure systems, providing expert guidance on data warehousing and modeling

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 8 years of experience in data engineering and implementing ETL/ELT solutions
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python)
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and data warehouses (e.g., Azure, Snowflake)
• Familiarity with data architecture standards and Healthcare Interoperability standards (e.g., FHIR, EDI)
