Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Software Engineer, Ordering Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and execution for the Orders Platform, transitioning from a monolithic to a micro-services architecture
• Collaborate with lead engineers on strategic technical planning for micro-services migration over the next 12-18 months
• Oversee development processes and build scalable micro-services for core functionalities like cart management and payment processing

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience as a software developer
• 5+ years of experience in a Staff or Lead role
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Strong experience in architecting and building scalable micro-services and event-driven systems
• Proven track record in migrating legacy systems to micro-services-based architecture
