Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Software Engineer-COBOL (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team in the design, development, and implementation of applications, including coding, code review, and testing
• Identify gaps in requirements and develop solutions while managing project risks and improving system performance
• Serve as the technical team lead, collaborating with clients to define requirements and estimating project costs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience (4 additional years)
• 8 years of experience in software design, development, testing, and requirements management
• Proficiency in programming languages, particularly COBOL
• Experience with cloud technologies and database technologies
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
