Licensed CDI Validation Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CDI Validation Specialist who assists in the oversight and evaluation of clinical documentation functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor CDI staff accuracy, data quality, and integrity
• Audit clinical documentation specialists for compliance and accuracy in documentation practices
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement ongoing education for CDI specialists

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, health information management, or related field
• At least five years of experience in clinical documentation or equivalent education and experience
• Licensed RN
• Master's degree preferred
• CCDS or CDIP certifications preferred
