Loss Draft Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Specialist, Loss Draft.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform loss draft and property damage requirements including processing checks and documents, ordering inspections, and evaluating exceptions
• Review and evaluate claim packages to determine draw eligibility and validate scope/costs of repairs
• Monitor quality of services rendered by appraisers and contractors, and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent work experience
• Two (2) or more years' experience in insurance, banking, finance, mortgage servicing, or related fields
• Strong knowledge of claims handling and practices
• General knowledge of insurance theory, contracts, and property estimating systems
• Familiarity with claims documentation procedures
