Job Summary
A company is looking for a Loss Mitigation Liaison I.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Single Point of Contact throughout the loss mitigation process, handling inbound and outbound calls with delinquent mortgage loan borrowers
- Collect consumer financial information, assist borrowers with loss mitigation documents, and communicate the terms of approvals or declines
- Adhere to compliance and operational risk controls, maintaining internal control standards and completing related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- A combined 4 years of higher education and/or work experience, including at least 1 year in collections or customer service
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone
- Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software
- Excellent customer service skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred
