The Role

We are searching for a hands-on and proactive Intern to will/may support our Sourcing, Production, and Quality pillar within the Sourcing & Production team. You will also need to work collaboratively across design, product development, and commercial and creative teams. This is a vital role in the Sourcing & Production team that requires a driven individual with the abilities to be hands-on, have a keen eye for details, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong customer service skills

Main Responsibilities

• Support logistical needs via tracking, receiving packing and unpacking of samples shipments
• Manage production sample fitting and photoshoot samples to ensure that tasks are executed timely and accurately
• Assist in planning out supplier risk management protocols and managing supplier assessment & analysis.
• Conduct opportunity assessments, benchmarking and cost modelling to develop sourcing
• Keep all tracking systems promptly updated providing effective visibility to internal teams
• Raise order sheets after every buying session
• Communicate with multiple vendors to ensure deadlines for all Sourcing, Production and photoshoot samples are met
• Raise any issues of ordered styles that will potentially bottleneck production and escalation of reporting where required
• Attend any quality complaints and feedback, work closely with cross-functional teams to investigate issues, and ensure timely responses
• Assist with any cross-functional team inquiries
• Support the department with other relevant duties as directed

• Availability for at least 4-6 months
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Natural excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills
