LTS Maintainer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a LTS Maintainer- Contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain core Yocto LTS layers including bitbake, openembedded-core, meta-yocto, and yocto-docs
• Monitor and backport fixes by reviewing submitted patches and auditing branches
• Plan and coordinate LTS dot releases, including release notes and build monitoring

Required Qualifications

• Strong familiarity with Git
• Open Source development background, ideally in Yocto/OpenEmbedded
• Python and shell scripting skills
• Understanding of software security issues
• 5+ years of Yocto/OpenEmbedded development experience
