Manager of Proposal Writing

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Proposal Writing to lead their proposal development function in the public safety technology sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of proposal writers and coordinators
• Own the full lifecycle of the proposal process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality responses
• Oversee the creation and refinement of proposal materials, ensuring compliance and quality

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in proposal development, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Proven track record in leading successful government proposal responses
• Deep knowledge of the RFP/RFI/RFQ process and government procurement practices
• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business, Public Administration, or related field; equivalent experience considered
• Experience with public safety technology solutions preferred
