Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manufacturing Underwriting Director (Commercial P&C) to lead the strategic direction of the manufacturing market segment and Workers' Compensation line of business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategy for the manufacturing market segment and workers' compensation line of business, including risk appetite and underwriting guidelines
• Develop and execute growth plans to enhance specialization and manage profitability in the manufacturing and workers' compensation portfolios
• Collaborate with agency partners to understand market conditions and identify opportunities for differentiation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related experience
• 10 years of commercial underwriting insurance experience with expertise in manufacturing exposures
• Ability to drive results through leading cross-functional teams
• Expertise in multiple core lines of business preferred
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
