Mechanical Engineer I

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mechanical Engineer I located in Santa Clara, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Support development of consumable fluidic devices and assist senior engineers with SolidWorks design
• Conduct flowcell manufacturing, process development, assembly, and perform dimensional and mechanical measurements
• Manage component testing, quality checks, inventory management, and sample preparation for external analysis

Required Qualifications

• Associates, bachelor's, or master's degree in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering
• 0-2 years of experience in the medical device industry
• Preferred knowledge or experience in microfabrication, microfluidics, and materials
• Familiarity with SolidWorks, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets is required
• Experience with metrology or microscopy equipment is a plus
