A company is looking for a Medical Case Management Assistant (Workers' Compensation).
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to phone inquiries and direct calls to appropriate parties
- Assist case management workflow by preparing correspondence and obtaining clinical information from providers
- Monitor queues and emails, ensuring timely processing of determinations and correspondence
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; medical or managed care background preferred
- Minimum of one year experience in a medical or managed care environment preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment
