Job Summary
A company is looking for a Medical Customer Service Assistant to handle patient billing inquiries and account resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for patient billing inquiries and assist in understanding billing statements
- Act as a liaison between patients, the business office, and payors for billing matters
- Resolve outstanding balances efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications and healthcare systems preferred
- Experience in a medical billing environment with knowledge of third-party payers and terminology preferred
- Bi-lingual in Spanish or Somali is a plus
- Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer relations experience
