Medical Writer for Hypertension

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Contract Instructional Design Medical Writer to support content updates for a continuing education course on hypertension.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and revise existing course content based on new scientific guidelines related to hypertension
• Research and incorporate the latest clinical practices and studies into the course material
• Draft and finalize medical content in collaboration with instructional designers and subject matter experts

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a medical writer, preferably in cardiovascular health or hypertension
• Background in health sciences, medicine, nursing, pharmacology, or a related field (MS, MPH, RN, PharmD, or MD preferred)
• Familiarity with clinical practice guidelines (e.g., ACC/AHA, JNC, USPSTF)
• Experience with eLearning, CME, or continuing education content is a strong plus
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
