Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of patient charts to identify documentation gaps and coding improvement opportunities

- Maintain records of chart reviews and coding opportunities while staying updated on coding guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Nursing, or a related field
- Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) certification or related risk certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare coding, focusing on Hierarchical Condition Category (HCC) coding
- Strong understanding of ICD-10-CM coding guidelines related to risk adjustment
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote role
