Job Summary
A company is looking for a Virtual Substance Abuse Counselor (MT Licensed).
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate evening IOP group counseling sessions virtually in accordance with program curriculum
- Conduct assessments and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Develop and update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and the treatment team
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Active Montana licensure as a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Availability to work Monday through Thursday, 5:00 PM-9:00 PM (Mountain Time)
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's or Master's degree in Behavioral Science or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of substance use and co-occurring disorders, recovery models, and therapeutic principles
- Experience facilitating group counseling for individuals in recovery is strongly preferred
