Network Configuration Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Configuration Engineer to join their remote team.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and validate routers, switches, SD-WAN devices, and firewalls for customer deployments
• Maintain and enhance configuration templates and collaborate with developers to automate provisioning workflows
• Conduct functional and security testing of customer equipment prior to shipment

Qualifications

• Junior to intermediate certifications in Cisco, Juniper, or Adtran preferred
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with ISP/MSP customer equipment and relevant protocols
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network topologies
• Familiarity with SD-WAN and cloud-managed networking
• Experience with scripting or automation tools is a plus
