Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mental Health Specialist II.

Key Responsibilities

• Interacts with clients in a therapeutic manner and models effective communication and recovery-oriented skills
• Assists clients in identifying personal recovery goals and determining interventions based on those goals
• Develops and maintains relationships with clients to identify emotional or behavioral changes and advocates for appropriate resources

Required Qualifications

• Four years of full-time paid experience in a mental health or human service field, or a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• Ability to handle phone requests under time and decision-making pressure
• Experience in crisis intervention
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 20 lbs
• Comfortable working in a clean, well-lighted environment with moderate noise levels
