Key Responsibilities

• Conduct evidence-based reviews of treatment requests for medical necessity
• Evaluate appealed cases and issue independent, guideline-based decisions
• Produce clear, concise written reports with no direct patient care involved

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Occupational Medicine (or Preventive Medicine with Occupational focus)
• Active and unrestricted New York State Medical License
• Active engagement in clinical practice
• Experience applying clinical knowledge to evidence-based guidelines and utilization criteria
