New York Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Onboarding Specialist to grow the specialty pharmacy patient population and educate patients on services offered.

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to enroll eligible patients in the specialty pharmacy program
• Educate patients on the benefits of the pharmacy services and maintain confidentiality
• Review patient EMRs and identify necessary medications and supplies prior to calls

Required Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician or related field
• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree or PTCB/ExCPT License preferred
• National certification from PTCB or equivalent is strongly preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred
• Commitment to obtaining required licensure if not currently held
