New York Licensed Utilization Management RN

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Utilization Management RN - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform chart reviews to assess quality, timeliness, and appropriateness of patient care
• Conduct admission reviews for various patient types based on established guidelines
• Gather clinical information for continued stay utilization reviews and implement strategies to reduce length of stay

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited school
• New York Nursing License is required
• 4+ years of experience in utilization management
• Familiarity with MCG and InterQual guidelines
• Ability to work 11am - 7pm EST, with occasional weekends and holidays
