Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Level Geospatial Scientist for mining operations in North Carolina and the Southeast.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter, edit, and update spatial and attribute data in GIS databases
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of data through review and validation processes
• Assist in georeferencing, digitizing, and integrating new datasets

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Familiarity with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS)
• Basic understanding of cartography and spatial data concepts
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
