Job Summary
A company is looking for an Accountant to manage budgets and ensure compliance with policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage budgets and track expenditures while ensuring compliance with state and federal policies
- Review and approve payments, monitor contracts for compliance, and prepare quarterly projection statements
- Provide budget reports to program leaders and assist in the biennial budget building process
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business, or an associate's degree with additional experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and their application
- Two years of professional accounting experience with a focus on budgets and cost accounting, or four years with an associate's degree
- Experience in project management, contract management, auditing, procurement, and accounts payable/receivable
- Ability to analyze the impact of changes in laws and regulations
