Oracle Database Automation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Database Automation Engineer (Night Shift).

Key Responsibilities

• Triage and troubleshoot complex database alerts and issues, implementing corrective actions and automation opportunities
• Implement and maintain advanced database security in compliance with DISA STIGs
• Support the planning and development of strategies for migrating databases to the Autonomous Database

Required Qualifications

• At least 6+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA, Site Reliability Engineer, or Oracle Database Architect
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields
• Experience managing scalable, on-premises and cloud-native distributed systems
• Deep understanding of the Oracle Database and related technologies
• Knowledge of PL/SQL, Python, Perl, and/or Shell Scripting
