Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Controller to oversee financial operations and manage an offshore team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger activities and ensure accuracy in financial reporting
• Manage and guide offshore employees, providing leadership and ensuring efficient workflows
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required; CPA designation preferred or previously held
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles
• Proficiency in NetSuite with expertise in general ledger management and reporting
• Experience in multi-unit retail or distributed operational environments is strongly preferred
