Are you a student passionate about mental health and skilled at creating engaging digital content? We’re seeking a part-time, remote social media assistant to help develop and promote educational and uplifting content across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
This is a great opportunity for students in psychology, media, marketing, or communications who want to use creativity for a meaningful cause.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
• Create short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Stories) related to mental health and emotional wellness
• Build and manage a simple content calendar
• Stay updated on social media trends, especially those related to mental health and personal development
• Ensure content is accessible, culturally informed, and supportive
Sample content ideas include:
• “3 Quick Tips for Managing Anxiety on the Go”
• “What Does a Therapist Really Do All Day?”
• “Signs You Might Be Emotionally Burnt Out”
• “Mental Health Myths — Busted!”
• “POV: Your Inner Critic on a First Date”
• “5 Affirmations That Actually Help”
• Therapist Q&A or educational posts (always anonymized and ethical)
• Culturally sensitive content that promotes inclusivity and well-being
Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong familiarity with TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook content
• Experience with tools like CapCut, Canva, InShot, or Adobe Express
• Creative eye for audio trends, captions, transitions, and visual storytelling
• Passion for mental health, emotional intelligence, and social impact
• Organized, independent, and collaborative
• Student status preferred but not required
• Chronically Online, ability to follow trends
Details:
• Hours: 5–10 hours/week (flexible)
• Location: Remote
• Pay: $15–$22/hour depending on experience
• Duration: 3-month contract with possibility of extension
