Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative responsible for accurate billing and account collections.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify items to be billed and obtain necessary documentation for billing
• Enter charges, submit bills, and maintain data in the billing management system
• Analyze billing issues to reduce denials and communicate with various departments regarding billing processes

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in billing, collections, registration, or related environment
• One year of Epic system experience highly preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• PC literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Must have fast, accurate data entry skills
