Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative- Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve uncollected account balances by contacting payors and patients
• Document account actions and maintain productivity goals while ensuring compliance with regulations
• Assist with special projects and communicate findings to management

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred
• 1-4 years of medical claims and/or hospital collections experience
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Understanding of the revenue cycle process and various insurance types (Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, Medicaid)
• Minimum typing speed of 45 wpm
