Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Contact Specialist I to support patient access and care through appointment scheduling and information management.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule, cancel, and confirm medical appointments while aligning with patient preferences and physician guidelines
• Respond to non-scheduling inquiries and route calls appropriately
• Collect and maintain accurate patient registration and insurance information to ensure timely payment for services

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required
• Minimum of 1 year of related work experience required
• Proficiency in computer operations and ability to navigate multiple software applications
• Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with a secure internet connection
