Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Engagement Center Advocate.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming phone calls and schedule patient appointments in the EMR system
- Document patient requests and information accurately to ensure effective responses
- Coordinate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow and meet call production goals
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience in a call center, customer service, medical office, or as a receptionist
- Previous medical office experience preferred; optometric or ophthalmic experience is a plus
- Proficiency in using multiple computer programs simultaneously
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations, including HIPAA guidelines
