A company is looking for a Patient Engagement Center Advocate to provide service to patients and providers through calls and appointment scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming calls and schedule patient appointments in the EMR system
- Document patient requests and maintain knowledge of site protocols and physician schedules
- Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet call production goals
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High School diploma or GED
- 1+ years of related experience in a call center, customer service, or medical office
- Previous medical office experience preferred, with a focus on optometric or ophthalmic settings
- Ability to work in a remote environment and manage varying shifts
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA guidelines
