Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Engagement Center Advocate to provide service to patients and providers through calls and appointment scheduling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to incoming calls and schedule patient appointments in the EMR system
  • Document patient requests and maintain knowledge of site protocols and physician schedules
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet call production goals
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of related experience in a call center, customer service, or medical office
  • Previous medical office experience preferred, with a focus on optometric or ophthalmic settings
  • Ability to work in a remote environment and manage varying shifts
  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA guidelines
