Key Responsibilities

• Educate patients on payment options and financial assistance
• Verify patient insurance coverage and prepare accounts for billing
• Coordinate patient care with clinics and document payment information accurately

Required Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of related experience in a medical or customer service environment
• High School diploma or equivalent education
• Experience in a high-volume medical office is preferred
• General knowledge of HIPAA and medical insurance regulations
• Proficient in computer software, including MS Word and Excel
