Patient Safety Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Safety Specialist I to promote patient safety initiatives and improve clinical care practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and submit patient safety events to the PA Patient Safety Reporting System
• Collaborate with leaders to investigate events and identify opportunities for improvement
• Promote a culture of safety and support the implementation of action plans

Required Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a healthcare related field (Required)
• Bachelors Degree in a healthcare related field (Preferred)
• 5 years of experience in a healthcare field (Preferred)
• Certified Professional in Patient Safety upon hire (Preferred)
• License or Certification in a healthcare related field upon hire (Preferred)
