Job Summary
A company is looking for a Payroll Specialist I to join their shared services team.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact in the payroll shared services call center, assisting customers with inquiries and issues
- Perform clerical tasks related to calculating, posting, and maintaining team member pay records
- Review, analyze, and audit employees' hours worked to ensure compliance with pay practices and Fair Labor Standards
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Associate's degree or equivalent years of experience preferred
- 0-3 years of relevant experience; basic payroll experience preferred
- Experience in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel) is required
- Help Desk Institute (HDI) certification is required to have or obtain within 6 months of hire
