Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Specialist I to join their shared services team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact in the payroll shared services call center, assisting customers with inquiries and issues
  • Perform clerical tasks related to calculating, posting, and maintaining team member pay records
  • Review, analyze, and audit employees' hours worked to ensure compliance with pay practices and Fair Labor Standards
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Associate's degree or equivalent years of experience preferred
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience; basic payroll experience preferred
  • Experience in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel) is required
  • Help Desk Institute (HDI) certification is required to have or obtain within 6 months of hire
