Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their payroll operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for employees in compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Handle payroll adjustments, terminations, and manual check requests
  • Respond to manager and employee inquiries through the payroll ticketing system with professionalism and accuracy
Required Qualifications
  • Previous payroll experience required (entry-level acceptable if payroll knowledge is strong)
  • Strong understanding of gross-to-net payroll processes
  • Preferred knowledge of California and Puerto Rico payroll rules and tax regulations
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with Workday, Kronos, or other payroll systems is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
