PE Licensed Lead Substation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Substation Engineer - Physical to oversee the design, development, and implementation of physical substation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the physical design of high-voltage substations, including layout and equipment selection
• Develop and review engineering drawings and documents, ensuring compliance with standards
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe
• 7+ years of experience in substation physical design engineering
• Proficiency in CAD tools and engineering software
• Strong understanding of substation components and systems
