Key Responsibilities

• Verify insurance coverage benefits and determine potential out-of-pocket costs for genetic testing
• Send authorization requests to insurance companies and follow up on their statuses
• Coordinate with vendors and report payer-related issues regarding insurance verifications

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of CPT codes, medical terminology, and ICD-10 codes
• 1+ years of experience in obtaining approvals for prior authorizations
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent computer skills and understanding of payer plans coverage
