- Lead and manage projects within the Financial Services sector, focused on Asset Management and associated processes.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved on time and within budget.
- Develop detailed project plans that outline project scope, objectives, and deliverables while effectively communicating with stakeholders.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies, ensuring that any potential issues are addressed proactively.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and communicate updates regarding project status, challenges, and next steps.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices throughout project execution.
- Support the establishment and maintenance of Project Management Office (PMO) standards and procedures.
- 8+ years of experience in project management within the Financial Services industry, particularly in Asset Management.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment operations, and asset management processes.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management and clients.
- Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Smartsheet).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Basic asset management knowledge.
- Understanding of risk and controls is a plus.
- Experience within PMO structure.
- Strong PowerPoint/deck creation skills.
- Highly client-facing, engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to drive conversations and manage expectations.
- 8-10+ years of experience.
