Power Supply Trading Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Power Supply Trading Analyst to support power supply efforts and manage risk within the power portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily position report creation and validate daily deal flow accuracy
• Validate and publish forward energy curves for pricing models for power sales
• Develop and maintain business relationships with suppliers, grid, and utility contacts

Required Qualifications:

• 0 to 5 years of experience in power or commodity markets preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in an analytical field such as Business, Engineering, or Science preferred
• Experience with databases using SQL or similar code for data analysis
• Proficiency in using advanced Excel formulas and models for analysis
• Ability to execute complex tasks independently and accurately
