Prebill Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a PreBill Specialist I.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify prebill information, including patient demographics and payor details, before coding
• Utilize system tools to locate insurance and demographic information, and place claims in the Insurance Discovery workflow when necessary
• Participate in Prebill Huddles and achieve daily production and quality goals

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• 1+ years of Revenue Cycle Management experience preferred
• Working knowledge of health insurance verification and major payor groups preferred
• Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of state regulations and payor guidelines
• Motivated self-starter capable of working independently and collaboratively
