Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Engineer - Compute Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the technical charter for the new Compute Platform, focusing on cloud infrastructure, big data systems, and security
• Collaborate with product and engineering management to build and execute the roadmap for the Compute Platform
• Lead technical initiatives in security, reliability, multi-tenancy, and architectural direction across organizational boundaries

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in delivering scalable software solutions
• Proven track record of leading large-scale, highly available, low latency systems
• Deep hands-on technical expertise in hyper-scale distributed systems engineering
• Expertise in multi-cluster/multi-tenant Kubernetes and container technologies
• Experience in driving operational excellence for large, production services
