Job Summary
A company is looking for a Principal Motion Planning Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop algorithms for autonomous driving, including search-based, sampling-based, and optimization-based methods
- Integrate and evaluate motion planning and prediction algorithms
- Design and build a robust codebase for motion planning approaches and participate in mentoring sessions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's or PhD preferred in Robotics, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven expertise in the robotics or autonomous vehicle field
- 2+ years of research experience in robotics or motion planning
- 2+ years of C++ software development experience
- Experience in project implementation from formulation to deployment
